Specifically, aliases and drivers are kept in xml files in this folder called SQLAliases23*.xml and SQLDrivers.xml. Just zip up the.squirrel-sql folder, copy it onto your new machine in your home directory and unzip it. Then launch SQuirreL and all of your alias/driver and preferences settings will be there.
